Your School Needs an Admissions Funnel, Not Just a Facebook Page
A booth at the mall gets you names on a list. What happens in the next 30 days decides whether those names become enrolled students.
Most schools treat marketing as a poster problem: a nice photo of sports day, a boosted post before open house, and a hope that enquiries show up. But by the time a parent reaches out, they've usually already compared you against two or three other schools quietly, on their own timeline.
The gap is almost never awareness — it's follow-up. A family gives their number at a mall booth or an open day, and then nothing structured happens with it. No sequence, no reminder, no distinction between a family that's ready to register this week and one still deciding between three schools for next year.
The fix isn't more content. It's a simple pipeline: every enquiry gets logged the same day, split into stages like Registered and Pending rather than one long list, and followed up on WhatsApp with a short, human sequence — not a single broadcast blast that reads like spam. Even a well-run spreadsheet beats a good Instagram grid if nobody is checking who went quiet after the first message.
Admissions marketing isn't a content calendar. It's a funnel with a memory — and most schools don't have one yet.
